Earth Community, Ep. 05 - Bolivia, Kasa Sol y Luna

View on the Pragda STREAM site

Libertad, a Bolivian woman dissatisfied with the constraints imposed by a sexist society, has dedicated her life to the cleanup and conservation of Lake Titicaca. In Copacabana, she founded Kasa Sol y Luna, an organization through which she raises awareness about the contamination of this sacred lake.

The project is supported by rotating volunteers, tourists, and members of the Chaapampa Community, an Aymara rural group to which Sol y Luna belongs. Together, they engage in various activities to promote the care of the lake and foster ecological awareness, including cleanup campaigns, workshops, training sessions, and more.
