Crossroads. Boa Mistura's Journey

View on the Pragda STREAM site

For over a decade, Boa Mistura, a multidisciplinary artistic collective rooted in graffiti and urban art, has traveled the globe, transforming marginalized communities through participatory art projects. Crossroads. Boa Mistura's Journey captures this inspiring odyssey, beginning in the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa, and spanning continents to create vibrant murals that unite and empower residents.

Through their work, Boa Mistura connects lives across diverse cultures—from a favela resident in São Paulo to a Mapuche woman in northern Chile, a Syrian refugee, and a young man from Kenya’s Kibera slum. Their collaborative approach invites local communities to co-create art that redefines public spaces and fosters social change. Directed with care and vision, the film showcases how art becomes a powerful tool to instill pride, strengthen connections, and spark transformation in neighborhoods often stigmatized by poverty and adversity.
