Andrés Centeno, a young factory worker, spends his nights working long night shifts, leaving him in a continuous state of drowsiness. Andrés has lost its way and forgotten his teenage dreams. Running into a piece of his own life story, he will realize that although he hasn’t made the right choices, it’s still not too late to make amends; accompanied by a new friendship that will encourage him to move forward.
Daniel Peralta's indie film quietly focuses on the mundane, pausing to look at the day-to-day in Andrés’ life. With an engaging performance at its core, this look at the anxiety that comes with realizing you haven’t quite lived up to your youthful expectations feels all too real.
"A simple story, one of personal searches and fortuitous encounters, of those that Trans-Andean cinema has been developing with great results and that takes a step back from the third world misery popular at film festivals." — Juan Pablo Russo, Escribiendo Cine
"One of Peralta's achievements is the way he has to present information in a gradual way... Another is the narrative fluidity used to tell a simple story, without the need of a complicated script with forced twists and intellectual airs. Peralta distances himself from that and the film wins." — Juan Pablo Russo, Escribiendo Cine
"Andrés Reads and Writes doesn't talk about childhood as a better time, but as a time when the essence of who we are and who we can become resides. It doesn't propose to forget the responsibilities of the adult world, but something more mature: to know how to put those responsibilities in the right place. Just by delivering that message, the film wins." — Santiago Balestra, Altapeli.com

00:04:14.625 --> 00:04:16.750
Good morning
00:04:19.791 --> 00:04:23.958
My name is Pascuala, I’m the medical intern
and I’m going to examine you today.
00:04:24.708 --> 00:04:25.958
Ok?
00:04:28.708 --> 00:04:30.042
Let´s see…
00:04:32.666 --> 00:04:37.417
According to your record, you were admitted to the emergency
room for severe pain, right?
00:04:37.417 --> 00:04:40.250
And you were given an intramuscular analgesic ...
00:04:40.958 --> 00:04:42.042
Yes.
00:04:42.042 --> 00:04:42.500
Did the pain decrease?
00:04:42.500 --> 00:04:43.833
A bit.
00:04:45.875 --> 00:04:47.791
Have you noticed any problems with your urine?
00:04:47.791 --> 00:04:49.125
No.
00:04:49.833 --> 00:04:51.292
Any fever?
00:04:51.292 --> 00:04:52.666
No.
00:04:53.750 --> 00:04:55.541
At what time did the pain started?
00:04:56.750 --> 00:04:59.083
About 4 in the morning, give or take ...
00:04:59.083 --> 00:05:04.833
I was in a party with some friends from work
I went home and I couldn’t sleep at all
00:05:07.042 --> 00:05:08.308
I can tell.
00:05:08.958 --> 00:05:12.583
Tell me where the pain is exactly
If you could point it .
00:05:13.016 --> 00:05:15.417
Here.
00:05:15.417 --> 00:05:16.125
In your stomach?
00:05:16.541 --> 00:05:18.417
Yes.
00:05:19.541 --> 00:05:24.167
Let’s see…
I’m sorry, what’s your name again?
00:05:25.375 --> 00:05:26.958
Julio.
00:05:27.875 --> 00:05:31.250
And you told me you worked in...
00:05:30.583 --> 00:05:35.292
I’m a truck driver’s assistant
I work in a moving company ...
00:05:37.375 --> 00:05:40.625
I load and unload weight all day long
And sometimes I get to drive the truck.
00:05:40.625 --> 00:05:45.465
And the truck is hard to drive
Maybe I have an hernia… do I?
00:05:46.042 --> 00:05:48.208
No, relax.
00:05:50.250 --> 00:05:53.480
Go to the stretcher and take your shirt off,
for I am going to examine you.
00:05:54.375 --> 00:05:56.125
Ok.
00:06:01.750 --> 00:06:06.250
Mr. Julio, according to what you told me
Something you ate must have gave you indigestion.
00:06:07.083 --> 00:06:12.167
It doesn’t seem like an hernia or anything like that
You must eat properly.
00:06:12.167 --> 00:06:14.917
Quit all fried food, all fats.
00:06:46.445 --> 00:06:50.833
I’m sure you’ve seen it when you were a teen
Everybody saw it in school years.
00:06:52.042 --> 00:06:54.791
I don’t remember.
00:06:56.083 --> 00:06:58.833
You’ve missed half your life.
00:06:58.791 --> 00:07:03.875
And the chicks…there was a special one who was really hot ...
She had long legs.
00:07:03.875 --> 00:07:09.125
And the fashion back then,
she wore mini-skirts showing the whole legs.
00:07:09.125 --> 00:07:15.000
It seemed like every thing was going to show
And you could see everything!
00:07:15.666 --> 00:07:17.789
And you could see everything!
00:07:18.009 --> 00:07:20.625
There was a scene where this girl goes into the shower ...
00:07:22.417 --> 00:07:26.125
Oh God!
I think that was the first pair of tits I’ve ever seen.
00:07:26.125 --> 00:07:27.042
Really?
00:07:27.042 --> 00:07:28.541
Freakin’ amazing!
I fell in love.
00:07:28.541 --> 00:07:31.416
Imagine a 100% natural tits.
00:07:37.334 --> 00:07:40.417
But how could you tell they were natural?
00:07:41.167 --> 00:07:43.541
Shit I don’t know,
I just think they were.
00:07:43.541 --> 00:07:47.375
Back in the day everything was natural.
00:07:47.375 --> 00:07:49.791
The girls, spaceships…
Even the monsters, dude.
00:07:49.791 --> 00:07:54.167
In the end,
on VHS you can barely see any details.
00:07:54.167 --> 00:07:58.000
Not even the blood
The blood was fake, too red, too liquid...
00:07:58.000 --> 00:07:59.541
Do you remember?
00:08:00.375 --> 00:08:01.167
Some...
00:08:01.791 --> 00:08:02.833
Another one.
00:08:02.833 --> 00:08:05.666
You know what?
I could lend you some movies.
00:08:06.334 --> 00:08:11.167
I download them from the internet
I have classics in HD, those you’re gonna like.
00:08:11.875 --> 00:08:12.958
Would you like that?
00:08:12.958 --> 00:08:14.083
No, thank you.
00:08:13.917 --> 00:08:17.417
Don’t be shy,
I can lend you some.
00:08:16.917 --> 00:08:17.958
Bring me another one.
00:08:21.417 --> 00:08:21.583
You’ll regret it.
00:09:17.917 --> 00:09:19.875
Are going to the premiere, right?
00:09:20.666 --> 00:09:23.334
I’ll call you.
00:09:24.500 --> 00:09:25.708
Something’s wrong?
00:09:28.167 --> 00:09:29.292
No.
00:09:29.167 --> 00:09:31.833
Since I got here I find you weird.
00:09:34.375 --> 00:09:35.375
No.
00:09:37.208 --> 00:09:38.875
Come on!
Tell me.
00:09:39.958 --> 00:09:41.541
What’s wrong?
Didn’t you like it?
00:09:42.791 --> 00:09:45.000
I did.
00:09:45.000 --> 00:09:46.042
So?
00:09:46.417 --> 00:09:47.083
I liked it.
00:09:48.000 --> 00:09:48.500
Nothing, nothing’s wrong.
00:09:56.791 --> 00:09:58.292
Come on!
Tell me.
00:10:00.208 --> 00:10:01.708
Tell me.
00:10:04.875 --> 00:10:06.417
Tell me.
00:10:11.708 --> 00:10:15.958
Well, everything was working just fine.
00:10:18.334 --> 00:10:21.208
And as far as I can feel down here,
everything keeps working fine.
00:10:23.292 --> 00:10:24.417
What’s wrong?
00:10:25.417 --> 00:10:26.666
Nothing.
00:10:28.917 --> 00:10:29.917
I have to go.
82
00:10:30,917 --> 00:10:30,791
But…
00:10:30.791 --> 00:10:33.000
I have to go.
00:10:33.000 --> 00:10:35.417
Last rehearsals,
we have to see some details about the lights.
00:10:35.417 --> 00:10:37.833
Nico loves to make last minute changes.
Are you coming, right?
00:10:55.833 --> 00:10:57.833
My car is leaking oil.
00:11:00.417 --> 00:11:00.708
Change it.
00:11:01.833 --> 00:11:03.083
Why do I have to change it?
00:11:03.875 --> 00:11:06.417
So you won’t get stranted.
00:11:05.917 --> 00:11:09.417
But it didn’t happen
Besides, I fixed it.
00:11:10.583 --> 00:11:14.334
That car I won’t sale for nothing in the world,
is my “vintage jewel”.
00:11:14.334 --> 00:11:14.666
Vintage?
00:11:16.208 --> 00:11:20.666
Vintage, dude, a classic
I have to invent the spare parts, just so you know.
00:11:25.167 --> 00:11:29.708
Check you out, you can laugh, dude, cool
that’s new.
00:11:32.417 --> 00:11:37.000
Look, that movie was released 20 years ago,
and now is on the billboard.
00:11:37.875 --> 00:11:39.750
Shit, that’s bad.
00:11:40.917 --> 00:11:45.541
Hey, I remembered something
see, when I was a little boy I did a funny thing.
00:11:46.000 --> 00:11:50.833
I cutted all the movie posters from the newspaper
And when I went to the cinema.
00:11:50.833 --> 00:11:53.042
A stupid thing, dude.
00:11:53.042 --> 00:11:59.708
I went with the piece of paper in my pocket to see the movie.
being a little boy is being very naive.
00:12:00.167 --> 00:12:02.042
You believed everything they told you.
00:12:03.875 --> 00:12:05.292
That wasn’t stupid at all.
00:12:05.292 --> 00:12:06.334
How come?
00:12:06.334 --> 00:12:06.708
Nothing.
00:12:09.791 --> 00:12:16.125
Hey, what about you and me going out for a beer this weekend
so we can have more time to talk.
00:12:16.791 --> 00:12:20.708
Or maybe you want to come home for lunch
Sandra is a great cook.
00:12:20.708 --> 00:12:23.250
She makes this zucchini stew, delicious!
00:12:23.708 --> 00:12:26.250
Sandra… who is Sandra?
00:12:27.334 --> 00:12:29.958
What do you mean ‘who is Sandra’?
00:12:29.958 --> 00:12:30.666
Your wife…
00:12:32.125 --> 00:12:32.791
Yeah, dude.
00:12:35.708 --> 00:12:38.042
Another time, another day.
00:13:07.250 --> 00:13:09.958
"ASTHMA"
00:13:51.625 --> 00:13:53.791
"BRONCHITIS"
00:13:58.583 --> 00:14:02.375
"PNEUMONIA"
00:14:42.375 --> 00:14:44.583
- Good evening.
- Good evening.
00:14:46.083 --> 00:14:48.583
My name is Benjamin, I’m a medical intern
How are you?
00:14:48.583 --> 00:14:50.750
Not too good, doc.
00:14:51.750 --> 00:14:54.375
What’s your name?
00:14:54.500 --> 00:14:58.167
Raimundo Álvarez.
00:14:58.083 --> 00:15:01.917
Perfect...
and your occupation, you said?
00:15:01.917 --> 00:15:04.208
I haven’t told you my occupation yet.
00:15:05.375 --> 00:15:07.708
Ok, what’s your occupation, Mr. Álvarez?
00:15:07.708 --> 00:15:09.708
Builder.
00:15:10.583 --> 00:15:14.250
No, plumber.
00:15:16.125 --> 00:15:18.083
Plumber ...
00:15:19.250 --> 00:15:20.125
Well, tell me where the pain is.
00:15:20.708 --> 00:15:26.208
Right here on my chest, it’s intense
it hurts really bad.
00:15:27.208 --> 00:15:29.666
And tell me,
does it radiates also to the back?
00:15:30.250 --> 00:15:31.083
What’s that?
00:15:31.083 --> 00:15:33.375
If you feel it in your back too.
00:15:33.375 --> 00:15:41.250
Oh, yes, but it’s rather in the chest to the throat
and when I breathe it sounds like a whistle.
00:15:41.250 --> 00:15:41.917
Like this…
00:15:44.334 --> 00:15:44.833
Did you hear it?
00:15:47.750 --> 00:15:49.334
Again.
00:15:51.125 --> 00:15:53.833
Do you think I have something in my lungs?
00:15:53.833 --> 00:15:58.292
If you have a breathing problem,
clearly you have something on your lungs.
00:15:58.292 --> 00:15:59.625
But I’m only telling you,
don’t be mad at me.
00:15:59.625 --> 00:16:04.417
I’m not mad at you,
but I’m the doctor here and I know what I’m doing.
00:16:07.833 --> 00:16:11.000
Tell me, do you have a history of asthma?
00:16:11.000 --> 00:16:13.791
Asthma in my family, no, no one.
00:16:14.500 --> 00:16:18.833
- And bronchitis?
- And neither bronchitis no.
00:16:18.833 --> 00:16:25.042
No that I know of, I don’t think so
do I smoke, yes, not much, but I smoke.
00:16:25.292 --> 00:16:28.583
You smoke?
And how much do you smoke a day?
00:16:30.334 --> 00:16:31.334
A little.
00:16:31.334 --> 00:16:31.917
How much is a little?
00:16:31.917 --> 00:16:34.083
Twenty to thirty cigarettes a day.
00:16:34.500 --> 00:16:35.208
A little.
00:16:35.208 --> 00:16:37.042
- A little.
- A little.
00:16:39.833 --> 00:16:42.666
Well, must be viral
something that increases with the smoking.
00:16:42.666 --> 00:16:46.000
In cold days and the humidity, this is normal.
00:16:48.334 --> 00:16:52.625
Very well, Benjamin, very well.
Andrés, can you wait a moment, please?
00:18:12.958 --> 00:18:17.875
Hi Andrés! did you see it?
Did you like it?
00:18:17.875 --> 00:18:19.167
I got stranded outside.
00:18:19.167 --> 00:18:19.666
Oh, that’s a shame.
00:18:19.666 --> 00:18:20.541
I’m sorry.
00:18:20.541 --> 00:18:24.208
But can you come tomorrow?
00:18:24.208 --> 00:18:25.000
Sure!
00:18:25.000 --> 00:18:27.208
Tomorrow will be shown later though, at 9.
160
00:18:27,208 --> 00:18:26,958
Super.
00:18:26.958 --> 00:18:28.833
Even better,
you can catch it on time.
00:18:30.208 --> 00:18:33.334
Karina, tomorrow you’re staying with me, right?
00:18:33.334 --> 00:18:36.125
I don’t know ‘cause now we’re going to celebrate,
we’re going out for drinks.
00:18:36.125 --> 00:18:39.708
And then I’m not sure what we’re doing
but you can come!
00:18:39.708 --> 00:18:42.917
That way you get to see everybody
for how long don’t you see them?
00:18:42.917 --> 00:18:46.083
Not long, actually
couple of months.
00:18:46.083 --> 00:18:46.750
Come on,
will be fun.
00:18:47.583 --> 00:18:50.500
About tomorrow, stay with me tomorrow anyway.
00:18:50.833 --> 00:18:54.250
I don’t know, Andrés, don’t be annoying,
I don’t know what I’m going to do.
00:18:56.750 --> 00:19:01.708
I think I can come for a while.
In which bar are you going to be?
00:19:01.708 --> 00:19:05.125
Same old, you can get there later.
Are you coming?
00:19:04.500 --> 00:19:08.000
Sure, yes,
I’ll join you later.
00:19:08.000 --> 00:19:10.958
I have to attend something now...
I’ll take off now.
00:19:12.042 --> 00:19:13.750
Andrés, bro, how are you, pal?
00:19:14.625 --> 00:19:15.958
How are you, Nico?
00:19:15.958 --> 00:19:17.875
I’m doing fine, dude.
00:19:17.875 --> 00:19:21.375
You were leaving without saying goodbye, ha?
Did you see the play?
00:19:21.833 --> 00:19:26.083
No, I got stranded outside,
I got here late, sorry.
00:19:26.833 --> 00:19:28.958
Ok, tomorrow it’s at 9 pm.
00:19:28.958 --> 00:19:30.750
Yeap, I was told,
tomorrow I’ll get here on time.
00:19:32.042 --> 00:19:35.541
- Cool ! Hey, let’s go for drinks to the same old bar
- I already told him-
00:19:37.334 --> 00:19:40.791
Ok, I have to attend something now
but I might join you later.
00:19:42.334 --> 00:19:45.750
What a busy son of a bitch!
This late and he has something to do.
00:19:47.292 --> 00:19:49.334
Ok, was good seeing you, bro!
00:19:49.334 --> 00:19:51.833
Congratulations on the premiere.
00:19:51.833 --> 00:19:54.083
Karina keeps me up to date about you.
00:19:54.083 --> 00:19:55.292
Really?
00:19:54.666 --> 00:19:56.917
Everything perfect.
00:19:57.334 --> 00:19:59.417
And what about you?
00:19:59.417 --> 00:20:04.625
Are you in movies, theatre, any characters, any tv series, web series
any shit?
00:21:59.500 --> 00:22:01.666
I’ve been sleeping like shit.
00:22:02.250 --> 00:22:04.167
What a bummer.
00:22:09.167 --> 00:22:11.083
How long does a mattress lasts, more less?
00:22:12.958 --> 00:22:16.250
I don’t know, five, ten years?
00:22:15.625 --> 00:22:18.208
Really? that short?
00:22:21.500 --> 00:22:23.583
It depends on the use.
00:22:26.167 --> 00:22:29.708
What use?
I don’t know ...
00:22:29.708 --> 00:22:32.833
I get home, I lay down, I sleep.
00:22:35.125 --> 00:22:39.083
I fuck sometimes ...
and that’s it.
00:22:39.083 --> 00:22:43.334
Well then ...
in that case it depends on the quality, bro.
00:22:51.334 --> 00:22:53.292
Shit, lot of things happen on mattresses, right?
00:22:54.000 --> 00:22:56.000
Tons! think about it.
00:22:56.000 --> 00:23:04.917
Lonely people, sad people, bitter people,
reconciliations, fucks, divorces…
00:23:06.708 --> 00:23:11.042
And deaths, people die on their mattresses.
00:23:15.334 --> 00:23:16.583
What?
00:23:16.583 --> 00:23:20.125
Nothing,
only that when you’re not a morron, you even seem smart.
00:23:20.708 --> 00:23:22.583
Hey, watch it!
I’m cooking!
00:23:22.583 --> 00:23:26.417
If something happens to you, I take care of it
big deal...
00:23:26.417 --> 00:23:31.167
Shit no, I rather call an ambulance ...
no thank you.
00:23:32.708 --> 00:23:38.708
You know what?
Is amazing to wake up alone.
00:23:40.208 --> 00:23:45.167
Having the whole bed to yourself
doing whatever you feel like.
00:23:45.167 --> 00:23:47.375
It’s swell.
00:23:48.375 --> 00:23:52.375
Today I woke up at 12, dude.
Cool!
00:23:53.958 --> 00:24:00.042
This week has been very quite.
I even feel younger.
00:24:02.750 --> 00:24:09.334
So tell me, Isidora wanted to go by herself to the south,
or you didn’t wanna come along?
00:24:10.208 --> 00:24:12.917
Too dull, I’m fine here.
00:24:13.791 --> 00:24:16.875
Besides, I don’t have any days off left
so no.
00:24:17.666 --> 00:24:20.375
Better off remaining here.
00:24:22.334 --> 00:24:25.708
Check this out ...
this is my secret ingredient.
00:24:35.875 --> 00:24:39.708
I don’t know…
you could have some girl over.
00:24:41.500 --> 00:24:43.708
Who am I gonna have over?
00:24:43.708 --> 00:24:47.875
And if Isidora founds out, she kills me!
and then I don’t get to see Matías anymore.
00:24:49.583 --> 00:24:52.250
No, I prefer not to.
00:24:54.208 --> 00:24:57.791
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Matias
he must be huge.
00:24:59.208 --> 00:25:02.666
He is ...
the other day he told me he wanted to shave himself.
00:25:03.875 --> 00:25:04.917
He is too small for that.
00:25:04.917 --> 00:25:06.583
Yes.
00:25:08.167 --> 00:25:12.500
Hey cousin, and the pictures?
You don’t take pictures anymore?
00:25:12.500 --> 00:25:16.208
No, I keep the camera though.
00:25:16.208 --> 00:25:20.917
I think I’m gonna sell it
do you want it?
00:25:20.750 --> 00:25:27.000
I don’t take pictures.
Don’t sell it, you took great pictures ...
00:25:27.000 --> 00:25:30.833
You were good at it.
I remember you had this webpage...
00:25:30.833 --> 00:25:31.875
How is it called?
00:25:31.875 --> 00:25:32.541
"Flickr"
00:25:32.541 --> 00:25:34.708
That one! was good!
00:25:36.042 --> 00:25:39.167
Not anymore,
I don’t have time to take pictures.
00:25:39.167 --> 00:25:43.208
I barely take pictures of Matías
and I use my cell phone.
00:25:44.375 --> 00:25:47.958
But maybe you can walk from work to home…
00:25:48.917 --> 00:25:54.334
I work miles from here, dude !
to take a couple of pictures.
00:25:54.334 --> 00:25:56.042
Thanks but no.
00:26:01.167 --> 00:26:03.250
Oyster sauce.
00:26:03.250 --> 00:26:05.708
That’s the secret ingredient.
00:26:06.167 --> 00:26:07.500
With this shit it gets just like the Chinese down the street.
00:26:12.000 --> 00:26:14.292
Don’t dip your finger, you pig!
00:26:21.292 --> 00:26:26.791
You are suffering from an awful headache
a sudden migraine.
00:26:27.292 --> 00:26:32.334
Around midnight.
vomits, lots of vomits.
00:26:32.334 --> 00:26:37.000
Photopsia, those images of shiny little stars...
you get it.
00:26:36.958 --> 00:26:40.250
You are very worried ...
00:26:40.250 --> 00:26:45.125
You tell them that you haven’t slept
at all because your schedule has been changed.
00:26:45.125 --> 00:26:52.292
You feel lagged...
and that obviously complicates your new job.
00:26:52.292 --> 00:26:53.375
Are we clear?
00:26:53.375 --> 00:26:54.666
What is this new job of the character?
00:26:56.541 --> 00:27:03.208
Cab driver, janitor, security guard ...
Whatever !
00:27:03.208 --> 00:27:03.750
I improvise.
00:27:03.750 --> 00:27:06.208
You make it up.
Are we clear?
00:27:06.375 --> 00:27:08.083
Yes, I get it right, but…
00:27:08.625 --> 00:27:16.500
Wouldn’t it be better if I perform some of the symptoms in there?
vomits, disturbed by the light, asking to close the window.
00:27:16.500 --> 00:27:19.958
You see, my dear... no!
00:27:19.958 --> 00:27:23.167
Let’s keep it simple, that’s how things work.
Ok?
00:27:25.625 --> 00:27:28.334
How old are you?
00:27:27.917 --> 00:27:30.417
Thirty two.
00:27:32.167 --> 00:27:33.750
Your name is Andrés, right?
00:27:40.000 --> 00:27:42.875
What´s your occupation, Andrés?
00:27:51.125 --> 00:27:51.625
Your occupation?
00:27:52.833 --> 00:27:58.708
Thank you for calling me just Andrés...
I’m not that old.
00:28:04.500 --> 00:28:08.167
What is your job, Andrés?
00:28:10.083 --> 00:28:13.875
I work in a factory ...
At night.
00:28:15.083 --> 00:28:17.042
At night.
00:28:18.417 --> 00:28:22.791
I have shifts from monday to friday every night,
except on weekends.
00:28:24.583 --> 00:28:28.958
So you feel lagged.
00:28:29.875 --> 00:28:31.583
Yes, kind of.
00:28:32.625 --> 00:28:36.666
And you?
What’s your name?
00:28:41.208 --> 00:28:42.708
Dominga. (sunday)
00:28:45.208 --> 00:28:52.042
Is a nice name, Dominga
Is kind of quiet.
00:28:59.167 --> 00:29:02.375
Also is like a holiday.
00:29:06.167 --> 00:29:09.625
Why are you here, Andrés,
What are your symptoms?
00:29:09.625 --> 00:29:14.666
Why am I here?
That’s a good question, why am I here.
00:29:18.375 --> 00:29:24.958
Headache, vomits, photopsia, no...
Not really.
00:29:27.375 --> 00:29:35.125
Is my back, it hurts for days
all this area on the neck hurts really bad.
00:30:47.666 --> 00:30:50.334
Do you want a lift?
00:30:50.334 --> 00:30:50.541
No, thank you.
00:31:25.334 --> 00:31:26.541
Do you mind if I sit here?
00:31:26.541 --> 00:31:29.208
Not at all.
00:31:30.666 --> 00:31:32.250
Do you want your beer?
00:31:37.375 --> 00:31:38.875
Is it good?
00:31:41.625 --> 00:31:44.167
Do you like my clothes?
00:31:44.167 --> 00:31:44.958
I love your clothes.
00:31:46.083 --> 00:31:48.042
Don’t you think it’s too tight?
00:31:48.042 --> 00:31:49.042
Not at all.
00:31:49.042 --> 00:31:51.417
Look, look!
00:31:53.083 --> 00:31:54.083
How do my tits look?
00:31:54.083 --> 00:31:55.958
Your tits look amazing.
00:31:55.541 --> 00:31:58.125
Hey, hey!
00:31:58.875 --> 00:31:59.750
Would you like to take my clothes off?
00:31:59.750 --> 00:32:00.541
Yes.
00:32:02.000 --> 00:32:03.833
But I don’t want you to take my clothes off...
00:32:04.750 --> 00:32:06.500
I want you to make love to me.
00:32:07.791 --> 00:32:13.500
But don’t say ‘make love’, say screw me or fuck me.
But don’t say ‘make love’!
00:32:13.500 --> 00:32:17.250
Ok, I’m sorry,
I want you to fuck me, but with my clothes on.
00:32:17.250 --> 00:32:19.666
But I want to fuck you naked.
00:32:21.375 --> 00:32:22.666
Listen...
I want you to touch me over my clothes.
00:32:22.666 --> 00:32:30.083
I want you to take only my panties off
and then, if you want, you can tie me to the bed and do whatever you want.
00:32:30.708 --> 00:32:31.625
Again.
00:32:32.625 --> 00:32:34.208
Yes, again.
00:32:36.750 --> 00:32:38.334
I thought you were going to stay.
00:32:38.334 --> 00:32:42.083
No, I can’t, you see tomorrow in the morning,
Nico will come to my house.
00:32:42.083 --> 00:32:45.125
‘Cause he wants to check the last details of the characters.
00:32:44.666 --> 00:32:47.917
Fuck, what a thorough dude.
00:32:47.917 --> 00:32:51.125
Yes, it’s true, he’s the best.
I love him.
00:32:52.125 --> 00:32:54.167
What? you love him?
00:32:54.167 --> 00:32:59.417
I do, he is so passionate about his job
and he does a lot...
00:33:00.917 --> 00:33:06.042
And what is that? doing for doing
generating content for generating content.
00:33:06.917 --> 00:33:09.917
That came out so ‘Santiago hipster’, shit.
00:33:13.125 --> 00:33:14.958
Are you jealous, Andrés Centeno?
00:33:15.417 --> 00:33:17.417
No way, how could I be jealous?
00:33:18.917 --> 00:33:21.500
Hey, why you wanted to see me with this clothes?
00:33:22.541 --> 00:33:28.708
‘Cause the other day I saw a movie
and there were girls wearing that clothes.
00:33:28.708 --> 00:33:31.833
I don’t know…
I wanted to try it, that’s all.
00:33:32.500 --> 00:33:36.083
I love that ‘kinky’ thing about you.
00:33:37.250 --> 00:33:39.250
kinky? what’s that?
00:33:39.250 --> 00:33:39.750
Kinky...
00:33:41.500 --> 00:33:45.042
Hot, nasty, sexual.
00:33:48.292 --> 00:33:50.375
You turn me on.
00:33:53.292 --> 00:33:56.917
And would it be hotter if I you knew that I’m wearing no panties?
00:33:58.375 --> 00:34:00.875
‘Cause they got dirty for what you did.
00:34:03.125 --> 00:34:04.292
I’m sorry.
00:34:03.875 --> 00:34:05.708
I’m not complaining at all.
00:34:06.708 --> 00:34:09.583
Ok, gotta go, so I can catch a cab.
00:34:11.666 --> 00:34:12.958
No kiss?
00:34:12.958 --> 00:34:17.417
No kiss,
so next time we see each other you can kiss me intensely.
00:34:22.000 --> 00:34:23.791
Karina come !
00:34:28.833 --> 00:34:30.583
I don't believe you are wearing no panties.
00:34:30.583 --> 00:34:31.917
Don’t you?
00:34:54.083 --> 00:34:55.583
Hello…
00:34:55.583 --> 00:34:58.917
My baby, how are you, it's been so long!
00:34:59.541 --> 00:35:01.125
I was sleeping.
00:35:02.833 --> 00:35:05.208
You know I work at nights, mom.
00:35:05.666 --> 00:35:07.292
Did you eat?
00:35:08.250 --> 00:35:10.625
No, I eat at work.
00:35:11.625 --> 00:35:14.791
Aha.. Are you alone or with somebody else?
00:35:14.750 --> 00:35:17.917
I live alone, mom, you know that.
00:35:19.083 --> 00:35:21.042
I wanted to tell you something.
00:35:21.042 --> 00:35:22.750
What, what happened?
00:35:22.750 --> 00:35:24.167
No, nothing serious.
00:35:42.541 --> 00:35:44.167
Yes?
00:35:44.167 --> 00:35:48.666
Andrés Centeno... I am Dominga Valdés from medicine School.
00:35:49.666 --> 00:35:51.000
I need to talk to you.
00:35:51.000 --> 00:35:52.917
Ok, come on up.
00:36:10.417 --> 00:36:10.875
Andrés.
00:36:11.541 --> 00:36:12.708
Hi.
00:36:14.208 --> 00:36:20.541
You should’ve had sudden headaches
along with vomits, insomnia, photopsia.
00:36:20.541 --> 00:36:25.208
And ending with a panic attack.
00:36:28.000 --> 00:36:34.583
I needed a 5 and I got a 4
a fucking 4!
00:36:36.666 --> 00:36:43.541
Luckily I spoke with the teacher and he let me redo the test
with another actor, a good one, not a clown that improvises.
00:36:43.541 --> 00:36:51.750
Do you know when do I have to take the test? Next Saturday
lame, isn’t it? A Saturday, ha?
00:36:51.750 --> 00:36:56.708
On top of that, I had a trip scheduled time ago...
which I won’t be free to go.
00:36:56.708 --> 00:37:02.875
And I don’t get why you told me your real name
what did you expected from that?
00:37:04.334 --> 00:37:08.708
So? you’re not saying nothing at all?
00:37:11.417 --> 00:37:12.875
How did you get here?
00:37:15.958 --> 00:37:23.417
On my bike, I left it parked on the sidewalk,
they won't steal it, right?
00:37:27.042 --> 00:37:29.042
Do you want a cup of tea?
00:37:42.833 --> 00:37:44.583
Do you live alone?
00:37:44.583 --> 00:37:50.000
Alone...
it’s kind of messy.
00:37:53.500 --> 00:37:59.125
Not at all,
you should see where I live.
00:38:06.625 --> 00:38:08.791
How did you get my adress?
00:38:12.958 --> 00:38:18.833
I asked it to the administration secretary...
I was so pissed off that I just came.
00:38:19.750 --> 00:38:23.083
I hate to eat my anger.
00:38:23.250 --> 00:38:23.875
I can tell.
00:38:25.917 --> 00:38:27.042
I’m sorry.
00:38:27.042 --> 00:38:28.958
No, it’s ok.
00:38:32.250 --> 00:38:34.708
Are you always like this?
00:38:35.375 --> 00:38:36.791
How come?
00:38:38.167 --> 00:38:39.917
Impulsive.
00:38:42.833 --> 00:38:45.375
I guess…
00:38:45.625 --> 00:38:47.875
Don’t interrogate me, I hate to be interrogated.
00:38:47.875 --> 00:38:52.250
Ok, it was only a question.
00:38:55.791 --> 00:38:59.375
For that matter, you get to interrogate all day long,
what are you complaining about?
00:39:00.875 --> 00:39:02.750
That’s my job.
00:39:02.750 --> 00:39:05.500
I mean, I’m studying for it to be my job.
00:39:07.750 --> 00:39:11.334
Sure, it’s ok.
00:39:14.791 --> 00:39:16.958
It was a weird medical consultation, ours…
00:39:16.958 --> 00:39:18.833
Weird.
00:39:20.000 --> 00:39:22.334
You told me your real name, for instance.
00:39:23.500 --> 00:39:26.292
But that’s not weird.
00:39:30.958 --> 00:39:34.250
Your job as an actor playing an ill man is weird.
00:39:35.625 --> 00:39:38.750
It’s a job like any other.
00:39:39.100 --> 00:39:43.833
Well, my real job is from Monday to Friday
on night shifts in a factory.
00:39:45.167 --> 00:39:47.000
You work in a factory at night?
00:39:47.292 --> 00:39:48.334
Yes.
00:39:51.334 --> 00:39:54.042
Yes, yes, you told me you worked in a factory.
00:39:55.833 --> 00:39:57.958
So everything you told me is true?
00:40:01.417 --> 00:40:03.417
Everything I told you about me is true.
00:40:04.208 --> 00:40:07.000
Why you did that?
Do you always do that?
00:40:07.833 --> 00:40:11.958
Not always, only that day,
I was angry, I don’t know.
00:40:12.791 --> 00:40:14.334
Why?
00:40:18.750 --> 00:40:20.958
I'm sorry, now I am interrogating.
00:40:21.200 --> 00:40:23.042
A little bit.
00:40:28.791 --> 00:40:33.917
You should have seen the face of my teacher
when he came out of the test... it was so funny.
00:40:35.000 --> 00:40:37.541
He probably didn’t understand anything going on there.
00:40:38.250 --> 00:40:39.917
Including me.
00:40:44.042 --> 00:40:47.875
I’m really sorry for all the troubles...
I really am.
00:40:50.417 --> 00:40:53.958
It’s ok...
Besides, I didn’t wanted to go on that trip.
00:40:55.042 --> 00:40:57.250
There will be many trips, they say.
00:40:59.292 --> 00:41:00.541
I hope so.
00:41:03.917 --> 00:41:05.417
At what time do you sleep?
00:41:08.875 --> 00:41:14.042
Now I should be sleeping...
I sleep on daytime, except when I have to play ill.
00:41:17.875 --> 00:41:21.250
I’m so interrupting you.
00:41:21.625 --> 00:41:26.750
No, not at all
I couldn’t sleep.
00:41:28.042 --> 00:41:30.292
Ok, but either way I’m here disturbing you.
00:41:30.292 --> 00:41:37.833
No, I'm used to, I do stuff at this hour
my back was hurting, I couldn’t sleep.
00:41:37.833 --> 00:41:40.917
So everything is fine.
You are not disturbing.
00:41:41.250 --> 00:41:43.750
Your back pain was true?
00:41:44.000 --> 00:41:46.125
Yes, also yes.
00:41:47.958 --> 00:41:49.208
Have you examined that?
00:41:50.125 --> 00:41:51.666
No, I don’t have time left.
00:41:56.167 --> 00:41:57.583
Let’s see, sit down.
00:42:02.541 --> 00:42:04.958
Sit up straight.
00:42:20.833 --> 00:42:21.875
It hurts right here, right?
00:42:22.100 --> 00:42:23.000
Yes.
00:42:26.791 --> 00:42:28.292
Ok, it’s just a contracture.
00:42:29.750 --> 00:42:31.500
Contracture.
00:42:30.583 --> 00:42:36.625
When a physical effort is made,
the organism metabolizes certain active substances.
00:42:38.833 --> 00:42:40.791
For the movement.
00:42:42.042 --> 00:42:50.833
This process causes these active substances become inactive or
disposable substances, also called metabolites ...
00:42:51.100 --> 00:42:59.625
These metabolites when are not cleansed by the blood when exercise is very
intense and if the body is not prepared, they accumulate...
00:43:01.208 --> 00:43:04.958
Causing pain and inflammation.
00:43:07.042 --> 00:43:09.000
Contracture.
00:43:14.292 --> 00:43:17.417
Now you see I study my parts.
00:43:17.917 --> 00:43:19.958
Sure, better than my classmates.
00:43:21.791 --> 00:43:23.250
Thank you.
00:43:24.375 --> 00:43:25.833
I have to go.
00:43:27.875 --> 00:43:30.292
Better.
00:43:37.417 --> 00:43:38.167
I was starving.
00:43:40.541 --> 00:43:42.750
Do you want some?
00:43:43.750 --> 00:43:45.625
No, thank you.
00:43:49.417 --> 00:43:51.083
What are you doing this weekend?
00:43:51.708 --> 00:43:52.583
Nothing.
00:43:53.625 --> 00:43:54.791
Nothing?
00:43:55.791 --> 00:43:58.000
Nothing, and you?
00:43:58.666 --> 00:44:00.958
I’m going out with this girl.
00:44:01.666 --> 00:44:04.875
‘Reheated food’, dude.
00:44:07.750 --> 00:44:15.083
A friend I used to go out long time ago...
she found me on facebook, and that’s it, we’re getting together.
00:44:16.083 --> 00:44:17.125
All good?
00:44:17.125 --> 00:44:22.000
Fuck yeah!
at least she still looks hot in the pictures.
00:44:22.000 --> 00:44:23.625
What about Sandra?
00:44:24.958 --> 00:44:26.375
What about her.
00:44:26.875 --> 00:44:28.250
What does she say?
00:44:29.167 --> 00:44:30.833
She doesn’t know, asshole!
00:44:33.000 --> 00:44:34.417
Sandra is my wife.
00:44:34.417 --> 00:44:38.042
Yes, I know, I know...
I was only asking.
00:44:38.042 --> 00:44:41.417
Don’t ask bullshit then!
00:45:00.334 --> 00:45:02.292
Thank you.
00:45:11.292 --> 00:45:12.875
Hey...
00:45:14.917 --> 00:45:17.417
Would you do me a favor?
00:46:51.167 --> 00:46:51.541
Hi mom.
00:46:51.541 --> 00:46:55.083
My baby.
00:46:57.042 --> 00:47:01.250
I’m so glad, it’s been so long.
00:47:03.208 --> 00:47:04.708
How you’ve been, mom?
00:47:05.417 --> 00:47:06.625
Alright, here...
00:47:07.167 --> 00:47:08.791
Alright? like really alright?
00:47:09.208 --> 00:47:10.917
Yes, alright.
00:47:11.750 --> 00:47:13.500
Is your head still aching?
00:47:14.625 --> 00:47:17.875
Sometimes, when I get stressed.
00:47:18.292 --> 00:47:21.000
But don’t stress yourself, mom...
you’re not working anymore.
00:47:22.334 --> 00:47:24.750
That’s what stresses me.
00:47:25.375 --> 00:47:27.292
You have to take it easy.
00:47:27.750 --> 00:47:32.417
But I’m fine...
Esther comes pretty often to check on me.
00:47:32.917 --> 00:47:35.042
Esther only comes when she needs something.
00:47:36.167 --> 00:47:42.125
The other day I sold her that bedside table
you dropped in the warehouse.
00:47:43.292 --> 00:47:45.125
But mom, why did you do that?
00:47:45.300 --> 00:47:49.541
The other day Esther asked you for money, did she pay you back?
And now the bedside table.
00:47:49.541 --> 00:47:51.208
Did she pay for that?
00:47:51.208 --> 00:47:53.334
At the end of the month, she said.
00:47:53.833 --> 00:47:55.958
Why do you do that, mom!
00:47:55.958 --> 00:47:58.250
But since you dropped it there...
00:47:58.250 --> 00:48:00.666
And the tools I kept on the drawer of the bedside table?
00:48:01.375 --> 00:48:01.625
I left them there.
00:48:01.625 --> 00:48:04.083
And my welding machine?
00:48:04.334 --> 00:48:05.708
It should be somewhere.
00:48:09.000 --> 00:48:16.917
When I was organizing the warehouse,
I found your boxes with all your old things in there.
00:48:18.417 --> 00:48:19.417
Wet, moist.
00:48:20.791 --> 00:48:23.208
Are they too wet?
00:48:23.666 --> 00:48:27.125
A few, but I left them under the sun.
00:48:26.625 --> 00:48:29.250
Good, thank you, mom.
00:48:28.708 --> 00:48:31.208
Are you staying, right?
00:48:31.208 --> 00:48:32.583
No, I can’t,
I have to take the car back.
00:48:32.583 --> 00:48:37.292
I have to return it today...
I’m gonna see the boxes.
00:50:03.666 --> 00:50:06.083
What’s up!
00:50:06.200 --> 00:50:08.292
How did it do?
00:50:08.292 --> 00:50:10.334
Great!
00:50:10.334 --> 00:50:14.083
Although the window over there tends to drop, it has a problem,
seems like the handle is broken.
00:50:14.083 --> 00:50:16.417
The handle, yes.
00:50:16.417 --> 00:50:17.583
Batman! what are you doing here!
00:50:17.583 --> 00:50:19.083
He is Lucas, my son.
00:50:19.083 --> 00:50:21.500
Batman, I’m gonna eat you tummy!
00:50:22.833 --> 00:50:24.583
He is dressed as Batman.
00:50:24.700 --> 00:50:28.833
Yes, we were playing Batman...
hey! did you ate something? Wanna come in for supper?
00:50:29.833 --> 00:50:32.417
Now I can’t
hey, thank’s for the car, a piece of work.
00:50:32.499 --> 00:50:33.250
Anytime.
00:50:33.250 --> 00:50:33.500
And also thank’s for this.
00:50:33.500 --> 00:50:37.292
Oh man! Look, I almost forgot this, is important.
00:50:37.583 --> 00:50:43.500
Hey, keep an eye on this relic,
you see with this I watched "Rocky I" and my first Tinto Brass’s films.
00:50:45.250 --> 00:50:46.167
Do you know him?
00:50:46.167 --> 00:50:47.167
No, who’s that?
00:50:47.167 --> 00:50:49.208
You’re such a noob.
00:50:49.208 --> 00:50:51.334
Ok, see you buddy,
gotta keep chasing Batman.
507
00:50:51,334 --> 00:50:50,791
Bye.
00:50:50.800 --> 00:50:53.000
See ya.
00:50:59.125 --> 00:51:00.125
Batman!
00:51:17.042 --> 00:51:20.541
If those things were so important
why didn’t you bring them before?
00:51:21.000 --> 00:51:23.000
‘Cause I forgot about them.
00:51:24.125 --> 00:51:26.541
They’re not that important then.
00:51:32.125 --> 00:51:33.541
Are we going out ?
00:51:33.917 --> 00:51:35.000
Look!
00:51:36.042 --> 00:51:36.875
My first “Barrabases” comic book.
00:51:37.583 --> 00:51:40.708
I must have bought it when I was 10.
00:51:41.208 --> 00:51:43.833
Good, are we going out or what?
518
00:51:45,334 --> 00:51:45,208
Ha?
00:51:45.208 --> 00:51:46.875
Andrés, are we going out or not?
00:51:47.250 --> 00:51:49.499
I don’t feel like it.
00:51:50.417 --> 00:51:50.875
You don’t feel like it.
00:51:51.791 --> 00:51:57.625
Ok, and you don’t feel like it because you prefer to stay home looking
at those magazines and shit from last century?
00:51:58.375 --> 00:52:01.042
Look!
“E.T.” did you see it?
00:52:01.042 --> 00:52:01.583
No.
00:52:03.583 --> 00:52:06.000
Oh, the one with that twisted dwarf?
00:52:06.499 --> 00:52:12.083
My dad must have recorded this one from the TV.
I wasn’t allowed to use the VCR
00:52:12.583 --> 00:52:16.167
Must have seen it a million times, it must be scratched.
00:52:17.958 --> 00:52:24.125
My dad knew that I loved it,
so one day he came home with a tiny E.T. toy
whose arms moved.
00:52:24.583 --> 00:52:26.708
Who knows where is it now.
00:52:26.708 --> 00:52:29.334
I must have lost it.
00:52:31.000 --> 00:52:36.791
I wanned the one my neighbor had,
the neighbor was older he had one that had a light on his chest ...
00:52:36.791 --> 00:52:38.167
And on his finger.
00:52:38.167 --> 00:52:41.042
Aha, look, if you want you can stay,
but I’m going out, ok?
00:52:42.042 --> 00:52:43.083
Ok, much better.
00:52:43.083 --> 00:52:44.083
Come again?
00:52:44.083 --> 00:52:49.334
Better, better, I said, you can go out. Enjoy.
I prefer to stay here quietly checking on my stuff.
00:52:49.499 --> 00:52:51.300
You know what?
I wasn’t going to tell you anything...
00:52:51.499 --> 00:52:54.375
But you’ve been such a pain in the ass lately,
I can’t keep it to myself anymore.
00:52:54.499 --> 00:52:56.499
Hey, look at me!
00:52:56.541 --> 00:53:00.042
I can’t believe you are so dull that you will stay at home,
saturday night, looking at those crappy stuff...
00:53:00.042 --> 00:53:02.000
Instead of going out and having a good time,
what’s with you, Andrés!?
00:53:02.500 --> 00:53:04.917
But I’m having a good time.
00:53:05.100 --> 00:53:06.417
Yeah right, super fun.
00:53:06.417 --> 00:53:06.666
-It’s fun to me.
-Well, not for me!
00:53:09.500 --> 00:53:11.417
The Goonies!
00:53:11.417 --> 00:53:13.417
Bye, you have become a real boredom, fuck!
00:53:15.000 --> 00:53:17.125
Are you leaving?
00:53:17.375 --> 00:53:20.208
If I walk out of this apartment and I walk out alone,
I promise I won’t look back ever in my life!
00:53:20.625 --> 00:53:23.083
Wow! Who wrote you that script?
00:53:24.167 --> 00:53:27.833
Nico. I guess it was him.
That asshole writes like shit.
00:53:28.292 --> 00:53:32.875
I mean it.
Do you want me to go and never come back?
00:53:34.375 --> 00:53:36.042
Do whatever shit you want.
00:53:43.292 --> 00:53:44.292
I mean it.
00:57:53.666 --> 00:57:54.541
Hello.
00:58:04.334 --> 00:58:06.917
It’s good to be here,
my night has been weird.
00:58:09.042 --> 00:58:10.250
How come?
00:58:11.417 --> 00:58:12.625
Stupid things.
00:58:14.833 --> 00:58:18.917
I fought with a friend,
Well, now an ‘ex-friend’.
00:58:20.042 --> 00:58:25.499
When you called me I was checking out some old boxes
I brought from my mother’s house.
00:58:26.083 --> 00:58:27.334
I was doing that.
00:58:29.375 --> 00:58:31.334
Old boxes from your old mom.
00:58:32.750 --> 00:58:33.958
Yes!
00:58:38.833 --> 00:58:40.500
And what was in the boxes?
00:58:41.208 --> 00:58:44.666
Uff, plenty of things,
things I didn’t remember I had.
00:58:46.625 --> 00:58:48.750
For instance?
00:58:50.833 --> 00:58:53.125
I don’t know, let’s see…
00:58:54.833 --> 00:58:56.708
Newspaper cuts.
00:58:59.417 --> 00:59:00.666
Drawings.
00:59:00.666 --> 00:59:07.167
Newspaper cuts as a psycho,
serial killer’s style?
00:59:08.875 --> 00:59:11.750
I don’t know if you remember time ago...
00:59:11.750 --> 00:59:24.833
The newspapers showed the movie poster and the info
where the movie was presented and the premiere date?
00:59:25.500 --> 00:59:27.500
I don’t know if they still show it.
00:59:28.791 --> 00:59:30.708
Well I...
00:59:32.666 --> 00:59:35.875
I cutted the paper...
00:59:36.833 --> 00:59:40.666
Cutted the poster off the page and I pasted
it on my special notebook.
00:59:41.417 --> 00:59:43.000
Amazing.
00:59:45.541 --> 00:59:47.875
Don’t make fun of me.
00:59:48.708 --> 00:59:51.167
I’m not making fun of you.
00:59:52.334 --> 00:59:56.541
Actually, it was a craft album of posters.
01:00:00.042 --> 01:00:04.167
What about you? Did you collect any albums?
01:00:08.417 --> 01:00:09.875
Yes...
01:00:10.000 --> 01:00:12.499
Sailor Moon’s
01:00:13.083 --> 01:00:15.958
Cool, cool.
01:00:19.167 --> 01:00:24.208
I also collected another one called “Me gusta”
about little boys and girls appearing naked.
01:00:25.375 --> 01:00:27.833
It was so funny and a little perverted.
01:00:29.583 --> 01:00:31.500
You completed that one, I guess.
01:00:32.500 --> 01:00:35.125
You guessed right.
01:00:38.000 --> 01:00:43.292
If I still had it would be amazing,
I don’t keep any of those things.
01:00:43.708 --> 01:00:49.000
Once I moved
I mean, one of the hundred times I moved.
01:00:50.000 --> 01:00:53.875
My mom threw everything away
she didn’t even ask.
01:00:56.375 --> 01:00:59.875
I remember I got so pissed off...
I cried and all.
01:01:02.500 --> 01:01:05.167
That’s so sad.
01:01:06.917 --> 01:01:10.300
Yes, and even more if you are a kid,
that causes you trauma.
01:01:15.875 --> 01:01:17.417
What other thigs were ther?
01:01:18.625 --> 01:01:20.500
In the boxes?
01:01:22.875 --> 01:01:24.666
Movies. A lot.
01:01:25.625 --> 01:01:28.375
On VHS tapes.
01:01:29.208 --> 01:01:34.417
There were some that even had the original cover,
and other that I recorded from the TV.
01:01:35.917 --> 01:01:37.833
Awsome.
01:01:38.833 --> 01:01:41.750
The ones from the TV we gotta watch.
01:01:48.875 --> 01:01:51.125
What?
01:01:52.083 --> 01:01:57.250
Nothing, only that you’re inviting yourself.
01:02:04.833 --> 01:02:06.375
Ok, whatever suits you.
01:02:07.208 --> 01:02:10.417
Sure, come, I want you to.
01:02:16.625 --> 01:02:19.000
What else did you find?
01:02:19.625 --> 01:02:22.625
Keys, keychains with keys that I don’t know what open.
01:02:23.791 --> 01:02:27.791
And other things. Posters.
01:02:30.417 --> 01:02:32.417
Posters, what posters?
01:02:32.917 --> 01:02:34.500
From movies.
01:02:35.334 --> 01:02:36.541
Cool!
01:02:38.250 --> 01:02:39.750
Of which movies?
01:02:42.250 --> 01:02:43.750
Ewoks.
01:02:47.417 --> 01:02:51.625
I found another one, “Break Point”
and one of “No Retreat, No Surrender”
01:02:53.083 --> 01:02:53.700
How old.
01:02:56.167 --> 01:02:57.875
Pure art films.
01:02:57.875 --> 01:03:01.417
Yes!
But do you know those films?
01:03:02.292 --> 01:03:05.417
The Ewoks...
those hairy things from “Star Wars”
01:03:13.708 --> 01:03:17.708
Well, I also found a notebook.
01:03:20.208 --> 01:03:25.292
With my writing. I don’t know.
I wrote it when I was a kid.
01:03:28.541 --> 01:03:30.125
How scary!
01:03:35.500 --> 01:03:41.750
I mean it...
finding something you wrote as a kid.
01:03:41.791 --> 01:03:47.500
It’s scary, when one was...
I don’t know, another person.
01:03:49.708 --> 01:03:52.292
Fear.
01:03:55.250 --> 01:03:57.000
Shame.
01:03:57.042 --> 01:03:57.499
A mix.
01:03:57.958 --> 01:04:00.042
A mix... But of a lot of things.
01:04:06.583 --> 01:04:08.917
Well. Your history.
01:04:12.833 --> 01:04:17.167
Yes, my whole history there, encapsulated.
01:04:17.167 --> 01:04:19.083
Inside a box.
01:04:19.583 --> 01:04:21.334
Frozen in time.
01:04:27.917 --> 01:04:28.500
Are you gonna cry?
01:04:29.200 --> 01:04:32.000
No. I’m having a good time.
01:04:32.666 --> 01:04:38.708
This night was strange,
I don’t know. Fighting whit this... never mind.
01:04:40.250 --> 01:04:47.000
Being here with you.
Seeing my mom.
01:04:48.500 --> 01:04:55.083
Have been in the home I grew up...
always makes me sad going there.
01:04:58.000 --> 01:05:04.791
Seeing my mom all alone.
Always worried about me.
01:05:07.958 --> 01:05:12.208
And finding these boxes with a bunch of my childhood memories.
01:05:16.708 --> 01:05:18.875
Mothers always worry about us.
01:05:19.875 --> 01:05:22.583
Yes, I guess so.
01:05:29.334 --> 01:05:35.208
My mom in the end is afraid that I will end up alone.
01:05:37.708 --> 01:05:39.500
Alone like her.
01:05:52.250 --> 01:05:53.750
What?
01:05:55.500 --> 01:05:57.042
What what?
01:05:58.167 --> 01:06:00.500
Am I boring you?
how dull is this?
01:06:00.791 --> 01:06:03.791
No, I was listening.
01:06:04.417 --> 01:06:07.958
Is weird to find someone so connected with his feelings.
01:06:11.167 --> 01:06:16.292
You should have been an artist.
I’m sorry, I mean you are. In a way.
01:06:19.167 --> 01:06:21.292
I don’t like that term much.
01:06:25.500 --> 01:06:28.958
The least artist ones,
are the more fan of being called that.
01:06:35.083 --> 01:06:37.167
I wanned to be an artist.
01:06:40.083 --> 01:06:40.700
Really?
01:06:41.708 --> 01:06:43.791
Really!
I wanted to attend the School of Arts.
01:06:44.000 --> 01:06:49.400
Plastic arts or design, I don’t know.
But. I finally stuck with Medicine.
01:06:49.625 --> 01:06:51.833
Very opossite things.
01:06:52.791 --> 01:06:54.708
They are!
01:06:56.334 --> 01:07:01.083
Anyway, my dad told me that I couldn’t study arts.
And that’s it, typical parent.
01:07:01.083 --> 01:07:03.250
Shit, what’s he got to do with it?
01:07:05.125 --> 01:07:07.125
He is the one who pays.
01:07:07.400 --> 01:07:09.833
He’s my old man and he wants the best for me.
01:07:10.583 --> 01:07:17.500
No, I think he wants what’s best for himself.
I mean, I hate parents that tell their children what to study or not.
01:07:18.375 --> 01:07:24.875
You can frustrate them for life.
That’s a very dangerous thing to do.
01:07:28.334 --> 01:07:32.167
Even when you study what you like...
01:07:32.167 --> 01:07:35.875
Finally you get your degree,
you get out, you can’t find a job.
01:07:35.875 --> 01:07:38.000
And you end up frustated anyway.
01:07:44.083 --> 01:07:46.417
I’m sorry, sometimes I talk too much.
01:07:46.417 --> 01:07:49.708
No, it’s fine.
You’re telling the truth.
01:07:52.334 --> 01:07:54.250
But do you like Medicine?
01:07:54.250 --> 01:07:59.208
I like it.
And I’m good at it.
01:08:00.417 --> 01:08:02.042
Very good at it.
01:08:05.708 --> 01:08:09.000
It’s weird though, ‘cause I draw a lot.
01:08:10.334 --> 01:08:14.334
I mean, I paint when I don’t have to study.
01:08:14.400 --> 01:08:17.208
On weekends usually.
It relaxes me.
01:08:17.875 --> 01:08:19.875
You paint? what things?
01:08:19.875 --> 01:08:21.292
Abstract.
01:08:21.708 --> 01:08:24.250
But... oil?
01:08:24.875 --> 01:08:25.583
Oil.
01:08:25.875 --> 01:08:28.708
Cool, I’d love to see some of your paintings.
01:08:30.125 --> 01:08:32.375
Really? ok!
01:08:32.541 --> 01:08:35.375
I can give you one of my pieces of art.
01:08:36.167 --> 01:08:39.625
Great!
I like it when you call it that…
01:08:40.208 --> 01:08:42.500
Piece of art.
Sounds nice.
01:08:42.917 --> 01:08:44.167
What a shame.
01:08:45.250 --> 01:08:46.708
I mean it.
I want something of yours.
01:08:46.800 --> 01:08:49.125
Dedicated.
01:08:49.300 --> 01:08:51.292
Of course, I’ll dedicate it to you.
01:08:51.400 --> 01:08:53.500
Alright then,
I’m gonna hold on to your word.
01:08:54.042 --> 01:08:57.417
No, I’m gonna hold on to yours.
01:09:08.833 --> 01:09:14.000
Is not easy to dedicate yourself to this artistic shit.
look at me, my situation.
01:09:14.000 --> 01:09:18.292
In the end, the only job I get to do as an actor.
Is playing an ill dude.
01:09:21.750 --> 01:09:23.917
Well, at least you try.
01:09:25.125 --> 01:09:28.000
But at the end of the day, you get tired.
01:09:29.791 --> 01:09:32.500
Ok. But the important thing is to carry on.
01:09:33.917 --> 01:09:37.833
Yes, I guess so.
01:09:41.083 --> 01:09:42.875
Can I tell you somethig?
01:09:42.791 --> 01:09:46.125
I thought we were already doing that.
01:09:47.334 --> 01:09:51.125
Yes, we are...
you know, I have a life plan.
01:09:51.125 --> 01:09:54.500
Something for the future that I would like to do.
01:09:55.125 --> 01:09:56.708
What is it about?
01:09:58.292 --> 01:10:04.292
When I finish my studies, I have a few months left...
Do whatever I want.
01:10:05.083 --> 01:10:08.500
That’s it. Only things I like...
I mean, at least trying.
01:10:09.833 --> 01:10:12.167
Great, sounds amazing.
01:10:13.167 --> 01:10:14.541
Do you think so?
01:10:14.541 --> 01:10:19.250
Sure, besides, you’re not a little girl anymore...
you've got it all figured out.
01:10:20.292 --> 01:10:26.375
You’re not a fresh from school girl...
Who thinks is gonna excel in the art world.
01:10:26.375 --> 01:10:29.625
If you didn't make it when you were 15 or 20...
you won't make it at all.
01:10:30.292 --> 01:10:31.791
That’s true.
01:10:31.833 --> 01:10:33.833
It won’t be easy for sure.
01:10:34.708 --> 01:10:37.100
There are people who made it, though.
01:10:37.541 --> 01:10:39.292
Who makes it?
01:10:40.666 --> 01:10:42.875
The one with great contacts...
influences...
01:10:42.875 --> 01:10:47.125
Or the ones whose parents support them and they can do whatever they want.
01:10:50.125 --> 01:10:53.167
Are you speaking about your principals or your anger?
01:10:53.200 --> 01:10:55.200
I don’t know, maybe both.
01:10:56.292 --> 01:10:56.833
I think...
01:10:57.833 --> 01:10:58.791
I think...
01:10:59.208 --> 01:11:02.167
I think I can do better.
01:11:06.791 --> 01:11:09.958
How fun. ‘Cause I've never heard you talking this passionate.
01:11:09.958 --> 01:11:11.666
I only knew your passive face
01:11:13.375 --> 01:11:14.833
There you go.
01:11:16.375 --> 01:11:17.750
Even your hair got messed up.
01:11:32.125 --> 01:11:33.125
And that?
01:11:33.125 --> 01:11:33.666
A present.
01:11:36.000 --> 01:11:37.791
You’re crazy, dude!
01:11:41.000 --> 01:11:46.875
Is the least I can do for you...
Besides, I don’t have money to pay you.
01:11:46.875 --> 01:11:49.625
But who was renting you the car?
01:11:49.625 --> 01:11:51.666
Anyway, for being so cool.
01:11:51.666 --> 01:11:57.042
Whoa! and this one?
I love this shit, bro!
01:11:57.500 --> 01:11:58.750
I thought you were gonna like it.
01:11:58.760 --> 01:12:02.666
I watched it with my brother when we were kids,
we watched it on TV.
01:12:03.100 --> 01:12:05.208
Thanks, dude!
01:12:05.208 --> 01:12:07.625
Well, now that you have it with its original cover and case.
01:12:07.541 --> 01:12:09.833
How do you get this jewels? they’re so cool.
01:12:09.833 --> 01:12:13.083
I found it some old boxes in my mom’s house.
01:12:14.042 --> 01:12:16.875
Cool.
And the VCR was working?
01:12:16.875 --> 01:12:20.833
Working alright.
I cleaned its heads though.
01:12:22.334 --> 01:12:24.250
I suppose you didn’t use a cleaning tape.
01:12:24.250 --> 01:12:27.583
Are you nuts? of course not...
With a cloth and alcohol, softly.
01:12:27.583 --> 01:12:30.791
Good, this beauty is going to live longer than us.
01:12:30.791 --> 01:12:32.167
Sure it will.
01:12:33.541 --> 01:12:37.510
This is a Bruce Lee movie...
Actually when Bruce Lee dies.
01:12:37.666 --> 01:12:46.292
Hey, Ramiro, maybe we can go for drinks this weekend,
I don’t know...some beers?
01:12:46.300 --> 01:12:46.541
-Really?
-Would you like to?
01:12:47.708 --> 01:12:52.000
Of course, buddy, I’m on it, yeah!
01:12:53.666 --> 01:12:56.417
Uuh, and this one?
01:12:56.499 --> 01:12:58.042
Live and Die in L.A
01:12:58.042 --> 01:12:59.917
“Conan” is there too...
01:12:59.917 --> 01:13:00.958
Where is “Conan”?
01:13:00.958 --> 01:13:03.292
Right there, look! there’s Grace Jones.
01:13:03.292 --> 01:13:04.292
Who is Grace Jones?
01:13:04.292 --> 01:13:07.000
The one who ate plants, remember?
01:13:28.791 --> 01:13:29.958
Thanks.
01:13:39.250 --> 01:13:40.541
It’s been a long time since I’ve cooked.
01:13:42.208 --> 01:13:43.167
Why is that?
01:13:44.000 --> 01:13:48.600
I mean...
It’s been a long time since I’ve cooked for somebody else.
01:13:48.833 --> 01:13:50.375
For another person.
01:13:53.125 --> 01:13:54.791
It looks good.
01:13:55.417 --> 01:13:58.125
I hope you think the same when you taste it.
01:13:59.708 --> 01:14:02.292
I think so...
01:14:02.300 --> 01:14:06.500
Besides you seem cheerful,
so it has to be good.
01:14:09.917 --> 01:14:11.666
I am.
01:14:17.000 --> 01:14:18.917
I mean, happy.
01:14:18.917 --> 01:14:20.875
With you...
01:14:21.875 --> 01:14:25.125
Here.
01:18:44.167 --> 01:18:46.791
This is my favorite place in Santiago.
01:18:49.541 --> 01:18:52.833
Nice view.
01:18:55.375 --> 01:18:57.042
It’s pretty.
01:18:57.625 --> 01:18:59.708
Best place for the preparty, isn’t it?
01:19:00.666 --> 01:19:03.417
We’re too old for preparties.
01:19:07.417 --> 01:20:07.500
Why?
01:19:10.125 --> 01:19:15.500
Pal, before a jam session,
no matter how old are you, no matter how old...
01:19:15.500 --> 01:19:18.708
There’s gotta be a preparty.
01:19:20.833 --> 01:19:23.666
Yeah, you’re right.
Cheers!
01:19:33.417 --> 01:19:34.125
Look at the plane.
01:19:34.125 --> 01:19:35.500
That shit is a plane, right?
01:19:39.833 --> 01:19:42.083
Yes, a plane.
01:19:52.375 --> 01:19:56.000
How’s your affair going?
Your affaire!
01:19:58.833 --> 01:20:01.208
You told me you were screwing this girl from facebook.
01:20:01.208 --> 01:22:05.250
Yeah, right, no, nothing...
Nothing happened.
01:20:09.917 --> 01:20:10.708
‘Cause of you, dude!
01:20:10.708 --> 01:22:13.417
Whoa! What do I have to do with it?
01:20:13.958 --> 01:20:19.750
The other day when I told you about it.
You put Sandra in the middle of it...
01:20:19.750 --> 01:20:21.000
And?
01:20:22.625 --> 01:20:25.167
And nothing… I felt like shit.
01:20:25.167 --> 01:20:31.583
And then I got together with this girl and I felt like shit
‘cause I thought about Sandra all the time.
01:20:32.875 --> 01:20:41.583
So nothing… we were in the best moment...
or in the worst, anyway doesn’t matter.
01:20:42.208 --> 01:20:46.750
And I saw Sandra’s face right there, man!
01:20:46.750 --> 01:20:47.958
Freaked out.
01:20:47.958 --> 01:20:51.000
Freaked out bad!
Dario Argento’s style.
01:20:51.000 --> 01:20:53.375
Argento.
01:20:53.375 --> 01:20:54.541
Argento... Argento.
01:20:56.541 --> 01:21:02.167
I mean,
I’m sorry I messed up you cheating on your wife.
01:21:00.167 --> 01:21:03.292
It’s ok.
It doesn’t matter.
01:21:09.917 --> 01:21:10.791
Ugly chick anyway!
01:21:10.500 --> 01:21:11.625
Really?
01:21:12.375 --> 01:21:17.625
Yes, I mean, I don’t know...
She didn’t have everything in its place like when she was younger.
01:21:21.417 --> 01:21:22.541
But you’re not young, dude.
01:21:25.666 --> 01:21:30.417
I know...
But it’s different, isn’t it?
01:21:30.791 --> 01:21:31.666
It’s different.
01:21:34.167 --> 01:21:37.083
Yes, it’s different.
01:21:46.042 --> 01:21:47.958
She had very saggy tits.
01:21:48.875 --> 01:21:50.500
Poor girl.
01:21:50.500 --> 01:21:52.208
Not poor girl, dude!
01:21:53.208 --> 01:21:56.750
She’s a divorced chick from an old guy with three kids.
01:21:57.292 --> 01:21:59.750
Things were getting hairy.
01:21:59.750 --> 01:22:01.791
Not hairy at all…
01:22:02.541 --> 01:22:03.750
Oh, it was good!
01:22:03.750 --> 01:22:07.292
It was more than good!
01:22:08.292 --> 01:22:08.917
Was.
01:22:23.541 --> 01:22:27.417
You see, I think, Ramiro…
01:22:27.417 --> 01:22:29.833
You have your kid...
01:22:29.833 --> 01:22:31.583
You have Sandra, who is great.
01:22:33.500 --> 01:22:42.583
I think you have something good there.
You have something... something nice.
01:22:43.833 --> 01:22:47.292
Yes, I know.
01:22:49.833 --> 01:22:51.791
Thanks, man!
01:22:57.750 --> 01:22:59.375
What’s with you? You look happy.
01:23:00.167 --> 01:23:01.625
Yes. I’m happy.
01:23:03.125 --> 01:23:04.708
It shows!
01:23:05.708 --> 01:23:10.334
You know what they say?
Happiness is made of bad memory and good health.
01:23:11.750 --> 01:23:13.042
Cheers! To good health!
01:23:14.167 --> 01:23:14.625
Cheers!
01:23:19.250 --> 01:23:24.250
Come on! tell me...
What’s with the smiley face, why is that? Look at me.
01:23:25.500 --> 01:23:28.583
What’s her name?
Tell me only the name. What’s her name?
01:23:30.000 --> 01:23:31.541
Dominga.
01:23:32.042 --> 01:23:36.500
Dominga...
And what does Dominga do?
01:23:37.833 --> 01:23:39.250
She paints.
01:23:39.250 --> 01:23:39.625
Houses, walls?
What does she paint?
01:23:41.625 --> 01:23:42.958
Don’t be a moron!
01:23:43.708 --> 01:23:47.708
She paints paintings...
and she’s studying also.
01:23:49.334 --> 01:23:50.541
Art? Painting studies?
01:23:50.083 --> 01:23:51.833
Medicine.
01:23:51.833 --> 01:23:56.375
What a wierd girl.
And you met her working as an ill dude shit?
01:23:57.125 --> 01:24:00.250
Yes, there I met her.
01:24:01.208 --> 01:24:02.708
All good?
01:24:03.625 --> 01:24:06.417
All good...
01:24:06.500 --> 01:24:09.292
I like her a lot.
01:24:09.292 --> 01:24:14.875
Great, man!
That shit you needed to get you smile back!
01:24:19.375 --> 01:24:21.208
Pretty restaurant.
01:24:21.208 --> 01:24:23.250
Yes, very pretty...
01:24:26.875 --> 01:24:32.042
Maybe you wanted to stay there, but I prefer to eat at home.
01:24:32.200 --> 01:24:33.750
No, it’s fine.
01:24:34.005 --> 01:24:35.500
- Really?
- Really...
01:24:34.958 --> 01:24:38.917
Besides, you're inviting.
So whatever you want.
01:24:38.750 --> 01:24:42.666
And since we’re celebrating your success.
01:24:44.125 --> 01:24:46.541
It was just shitty gig they gave me in a soap opera.
01:24:47.000 --> 01:24:51.167
Ok, but is a gig today, a commercial tomorrow ...
01:24:51.167 --> 01:24:54.250
And then many things may come along.
01:25:07.500 --> 01:25:09.625
Hey...
01:25:10.541 --> 01:25:13.167
Did you know that your bathroom ceiling has fungi?
01:25:13.833 --> 01:25:17.250
Fungi! no way...
it’s dirty that’s all.
01:25:17.583 --> 01:25:20.125
It’s dirty?
And why is it dirty?
01:25:21.292 --> 01:25:21.791
That’s disgusting.
01:26:10.708 --> 01:26:11.958
What?
01:26:14.875 --> 01:26:16.417
Nothing.
